| The Devil’s Punchbowl has many different types of plants. The Punchbowl is located in the chaparral of the lower hills in the San Gabriel mountains. “Chaparral” is the zone where shrubs and brushes are mixed. If you rise in elevation you see more trees, and if you drop in elevation you see more shrubs. The most common tree in the Devil’s punchbowl is piñon pine.
